After his 'Timeless' show on Sunday night in Lagos, the singer arrived in Botswana a few hours later. On April 24, 2023, he met with Mokgweetsi Masisi, the president of Botswana, while in the nation to attend the Forbes' 30 under 30 Africa Summit in Gaborone. 

The president was ecstatic to meet him, and they talked as they sat side by side at their table. On Monday, Davido posted pictures of himself at the welcome dinner, bowing to the president and shaking his hand on Instagram.
