Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie is ready to take legal action against the school of his late son Kambilichukwu Edochie, who died on Thursday.
According to reports, Yul Edochie accused the management of the school of negligence.
The bereaved movie actor and director reported that death of his son to the Lagos State Police Command.
The state’s Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the development in a chat with BBC, on Thursady.
According to Hundeyin, the matter was forwarded to the State Criminal Investigation Department on Friday for investigation.
Hundeyin said;
“He just reported the case and we have begun investigation. By tomorrow (Friday) it will be transferred to the state CID. We will investigate what killed the boy. They have to do an autopsy and known what happened to himâ€, he said.
“We cant tell you what happened to him now until an autopsy is conducted, but the incident happened in schoolâ€
Kambilichukwu died on Thursady morning after developing a seizure and was rushed to the Mother and Child Hospital in Lagos.
Though Kambilichukwu is the first son, he is the second of Yul and May Edochie in their 18 years of marriage.
Their other children are Danielle, Karl and Victory Edochie.
