Peter Obi: I agree with President Buhari on what Nigerian youths must do

On the evening of Wednesday, April 19, 2023, Peter Obi expressed his thoughts on recent events in the countrt, including the contentious Adamawa State governorship supplementary election, in a series of tweets posted on his official handle.

 

He added that he remained dedicated to serving the Nigerian people and building a larger country where everyone could benefit from the available natural and human resources, noting that those events had highlighted the significance of upholding the rule of law.

 

The former governor of Anambra State emphasized that all Nigerians should continue to pray fervently for the country's greatness, which he claimed is about to manifest. He added that Nigeria is truly blessed with the potential to become a great nation.

 

 

Obi's tweet read: "Recent events in our country, including political developments in Adamawa state, underline the importance of adhering to the rule of law.

 

"As a patriotic Nigerian who has served this country diligently, I remain committed to serving the Nigerian people and achieving a greater Nigeria in which everyone will be a beneficiary of our God-given wealth of abundant human and natural resources.

 

"Nigeria is a truly blessed and potentially great nation. With the Almighty God on our side, Nigeria's greatness will soon manifest fully, thus ensuring that she is well-respected globally.

 

"In view of this, l ask all well-meaning Nigerians to commit their heart to prayers for a better and greater Nigeria."

 

 

The Labour Party's flag-bearer continued by highlighting the crucial roles that youths must play in the creation of a new nation and by expressing his support for President Muhammadu Buhari's counsel that Nigerian youths should have faith in the nation and prepare themselves for leadership roles.
