OBALOLA OF THE SEASON IN GANG OF LAGOS.

Tobi Bakare is an actor, model, and presenter from Nigeria. His was born on 1st of June 1994. He made his debut in the entertainment industry on the third season of the Bbnaija show, where he finished as the reality show's second runner-up. He debuted in the filmed drama “Hustle” as a character. In addition to performing, Bakare is a model that has done numerous work for companies, including MTN, Access Bank, and Konga.

In each play, Bakare has played the lead role to perfection. Even though he had a lucrative career in banking, he realized that he wanted to pursue other interests, starting with photography. After the performance, he got many proposals from producers who wanted to collaborate with him. His first significant acting role was in the Jade Osiberu production Sugar Rush, and he has since been cast in two further Jade Osiberu projects in which he plays the lead role.

He was handed the lead role in Gang of Lagos as Obalola's character. It is the tale of a young man who is fighting to find his place in a world that is rigged against him. He is compelled to make challenging decisions that ultimately take him in a dangerous direction. In terms of having a wonderful plot and combining it with excellent acting, a strong cast, outstanding picture or technical quality, and fantastic strategy, it brings the movie industry to a whole new level.

Every Nigerian, whether at home and abroad, can relate to it. Where each of the characters contains a little part of the viewer or someone they know.

By creating the character in his imagination, he was able to realize it. Because of his upbringing and life experiences, he was capable of delving deeper into the process of creativity. Everything he accomplished had meaning or originated from a precise location that allowed him to relate to it. By supporting him and believing in him, the director Jade Osiberu and producer Lala Akindoju helped him to play the part well.

The film did not downplay the terrible reality of poverty, but it also depicts the humanity and tenacity of the folks who are fighting for survival. It is a strong and moving depiction of family and friends, When we had to observe Obalola's fragility as a role in Gangs of Lagos, that was the most difficult aspect of the role. He was able to develop into a tremendously strong and powerful figure by taking on the guise of Obalola, but part of that strength also came from being receptive to unadulterated, unfiltered emotions.

He had never played a lead role before Gangs of Lagos, which he delivered so well. Likewise, he is especially interested in roles that allow him to examine many facets of Nigerian culture and showcase uncommon experiences. Additionally, he has worked with outstanding directors like Jadesola Osiberu and Kemi Akindoju, who share his vision and commitment to telling real, meaningful tales that connect with viewers all over the world.

He hopes to use his platform and talent to help the Nigerian film industry expand and flourish, while also inspiring and energizing audiences at home and abroad.
