The relationship between Ed Sheeran and Cherry Seaborn started in 2015. The couple kept their relationship low-key for a while, but in January 2018, Ed announced their engagement on Instagram, revealing that he had proposed to Cherry over the 2017 Christmas holiday. The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in January 2019, and they have since welcomed a daughter named Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran in August 2020.
Following the discovery of her cancer diagnosis in February 2022, Cherry revealed that the singer effortlessly wrote seven songs in just four hours. On Instagram, the 32-year-old international pop star said that his wife Cherry had a tumor discovered while she was carrying their second kid.
According to the Daily Mail, 30-year-old Cherry opened up about her battle with cancer in great detail in a new Disney+ special documentary. Simply put, Cherry explained, she received a cancer diagnosis at the beginning of the year, which was a major shock but caused her to seriously consider an individual's life expectancy.
She was telling Eds that she had hardly at all, at any time agreed to do anything similar before, but it had caused her to consider this entire year: how would people view her if she passed away? She hadn't really considered the possibility of death until recently.
After receiving the tumor diagnosis, Eds went down to his basement and spent four hours writing seven songs.
She claimed that whereas some individuals keep journals and use the pen to express their emotions, Eds would instead go and write a song if something really traumatic occurred.
Since they first discussed it, admirers and well-wishers have sent their supportive messages and prayers in the hopes that the couples will continue to grow closer.
