President Bola Tinubu has received praise in his brief time in office from Bayo Asaolu, acting president of the All Nigeria Community in Ghana.
In response to issues facing Nigerians in Ghana, Asaolu expressed confidence that the situation would improve.
“I have been discussing with my fellow members at national and regional level and I can assure our hosts of new look Nigerians in Ghanaâ€.
He expressed confidence in the President's capacity to forge closer ties with West Africa and voiced hope that ECOWAS inhabitants would have easy access to the region, which would help the economy.
Asaolu urged Nigerians living in Ghana to refrain from actions that would endanger the diplomatic ties between Nigeria and Ghana.
He praised the high commissioner for Nigeria in Ghana for having the vision to mend the strained ties between the two nations.
While congratulating Tinubu as ECOWAS chairman, he said Nigerians should give the President time to stabilise his programmes. “Truly, we need serious intervention but these will not magically happenâ€, he said.
