During a “Me her and everything else podcast session” the host, delved into a conversation with Beauty Tukura, an ex-BBNaija housemate who had recently been honored with the coveted Best Dressed award at the 9th edition of the AMVCA. The guest eagerly sought to uncover Beauty's emotions and reflections on this remarkable achievement. 

Beauty confessed that she was genuinely taken aback when her name was announced as the recipient of the prestigious accolade. AMVCA, being outside her comfort zone, had not been an event she had paid much attention to before. In fact, her knowledge about the award was limited to a cash prize of ₦500,000. Never having attended the ceremony before, she had no inkling of the significance associated with the accolade. Consequently, her authentic surprise at winning the award was misconstrued by some as a pretence, an act that Nigerians generally frown upon. 

As Beauty recounted her experience, she revealed that upon reaching the podium, she found herself lost for words, uttering nothing more than a humble “thank you” in response to the recognition. However, she soon realized that the expectant crowd desired more from her acceptance speech. Gathering her thoughts, she delivered a resounding declaration, stating, “Fashion is a lifestyle.”
