Newcastle 2-0 Manchester United: A New castle of ‘Wils’ unite to bring down Manchester.

Newcastle defeat Manchester United to move above them in the league standings as goals from Joe Willock and Callum Wilson sealed the three points for the hosts.

Midfielder Joe Joe Willock put the home side in front in the 65thminute of the game after he put his header past De Gea from close range in what was a brilliant team goal. Newcastle continued to show will in the closing stages of the game and that will showed off as substitute Callum Wilson scored in the 88th minute to ensure victory for Newcastle.

Newcastle definitely got the revenge for their Carabao Cup final loss to Manchester United over 30 days ago with this win and the players obviously wanted the win more for their team than the visitors as their display was just a show of dominance from kick-off.

Another fixture without a goal, Manchester United have now failed to score in three consecutive Premier League games for the first time since February 2020.
