MTN, plans new $320 million fiber cable network

MTN Group, Africa's largest mobile phone company, has announced plans to invest $320 million in a new fiber cable network that will connect multiple countries across the continent. This new network is expected to provide faster and more reliable internet access to millions of people, as well as improve the quality of telecommunications services.

The project is part of MTN's larger strategy to become a major provider of digital services in Africa.

The company hopes that this investment will help it become one of the leading providers of digital services on the continent, while also providing much needed infrastructure for businesses and individuals.
