Ayodele Olawande, the Minister of State for Youth Development, has characterized President Bola Tinubu as a symbol of wealth who has no intention of embezzling Nigeria's resources.
According to Voice of Nigeria (VON), Olawande made this statement during a recent event in Abuja. He urged patience with the current administration, expressing confidence that the country will soon improve and the lives of its citizens will be transformed.
"The President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is not impoverished; he is recognized as a figure of wealth, so it is unfounded to suggest he wishes to loot Nigeria's treasury. He has experienced financial success and thus has no interest in stealing from the nation," he stated.
Olawande emphasized that leadership is about commitment to service, noting that positions are temporary, and the impact made during one’s tenure is what endures
