Investors Flock to Ubulu-Uku Ine Festival, Showcasing Cultural Heritage

The Ubulu-Uku Ine Festival was a grand celebration that drew thousands from near and far, highlighting the rich cultural heritage of the Ubulu-Uku kingdom in Aniocha South, Delta State.

Led by Chief James Onwordi Ibori Ubulu, the Onishe of Ubulu-Uku, the festivities underscored the festival's importance in preserving the kingdom's traditions. The Ine Festival, an annual event, features cultural displays, cleansing rituals, music, dance, and social commentary, reflecting the kingdom's history.

This festival also serves as a tourist attraction, bringing in investors eager to experience the kingdom's vibrant culture. Notable attendees included Palace Chiefs, Human Rights Activist Harrison Gwamnishu, and Delta State Governor's media aides, Mr. Ossai Ovie Success and Mr. Collins Uduaghan.

Highlights of the Ine Festival included traditional attire displays, music and dance performances, cleansing rituals to purify the land from immorality, and social commentary addressing community issues.

The Onishe expressed gratitude on behalf of HRM Obi Chukwuka Noah Akaeze, the Obi of Ubulu-Uku, thanking the community for their peaceful participation and celebrating their pride in showcasing their cultural heritage.
