Former U.S president Donald Trump is currently under fire once again!
The 45th American president was ridiculed by GOP members and other fellow Republicans for his alliance with North Korean supreme leader Kim Jong Un. The 76 year old politician who is also a renowned businessman congratulated the communist leader on his Truth Social account after it was revealed that North Korea would be joining the World Health Organization’s executive board.
Trump’s affiliation with the controversial supreme leader of North korea Kim Jong Un has set Twitter ablaze. The 39 year old politician is famous for being an alleged oppressor and dictator to his subjects and has been North Korea’s leader since 2011. He has been on countless occasions accused of heinous actions and subjecting citizens to certain ‘hardships’.
Trump’s friendship with Un was featured in the 2023 book Letters to Trump. The controversial figures have gushed over their bond since their 2018 meeting in Singapore further infuriating Americans.
A former member of the Trump administration and U.N representative Nikki Haley quickly called out her former boss on receiving the news.
“Kim Jong Un starves his own people. It’s a total farce that North Korea has a leading role at the World Health Organization,†she said.
The governor of Georgia, Brian Kemp even chimed In on the conversation;
“Taking our country back from Joe Biden does not start with congratulating North Korea’s murderous dictator.â€
The uproar is currently putting the former president in an even worse light, further tarnishing his image following his arrest last month with ties to a pending criminal case that made him the first American president to have been detained.
