Inter Milan have progressed to the champions league semi-final after their 3-3 second leg result was enough to see them beat Benfica 5-3 on aggregate to progress.
Nicolo Barella opened the scoring for the hosts in the 14 minute before Fredrik Aursnes made it 1-1 24 minutes later. Lautaro Martinez then restored the lead for the home side in the 65th minute before Joaquin Correa further extended the lead for the Italian side in the 78th minute. Benfica fought back with two late goals from Antonio Silva and Petar Musa in the 86th and 95th minute to ensure the game ended level.
