I DON’T LIKE THAT THEY ARE TOPPING CHARTS— ODUMODUBLVCK ON OLAMIDE AND ASAKE

The young, fast-rising and indigenously-laced Nigerian rapper and songwriter Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck has recently caused controversy  with a remark he made regarding Asake and YBNL boss Olamide.

In a now-deleted tweet the Declan Rice crooner had stated that he does not understand why Olamide and Asake keep maintaining their song at the top of the music charts. Odumodu stated this, adding that he was unsure of their motivation for dethroning other musicians.

The 29 year old entertainer further claimed that since they have already achieved milestone success in life and their music careers respectively, it is frustrating for them to still be competing for the top spot with other up-and-coming artists.

While his intentions behind the tweet are unknown, it rubbed off wrongly on netizens as they perceived his tweet stemming from a place of jealousy and envy.

Odumodublvck wrote; â€œI no know wetin Olamide Baddo and Asake dey gain as dem dey that number one o. People wey don already make am for life. Mscheeew!!!”

The post seemingly triggered a lot of  people on social media and when fans started hurling their verbal attacks on him, the rapper swiftly decided to delete his tweet.
