Hammers complete A-Z of Conference League as they reach first European final in 47 years.

 

 

It was nothing short of celebration for the West Ham team as they defeated AZ Alkmaar 1-0 at the AFAS Stadion, Alkmaar to reach the final of the Europa Conference League. 

Pablo Fornals goal in the 4th minute of additional time after the 90 minute mark was well enough to secure West Ham’s place in the final, seeing them progress with a 3-1 aggregate scoreline.

 

West Ham would face Fiorentina in the Final scheduled to be played on the 7th of June at the Fortuna Arena in Prague. The West Ham players and staff expressed their excitement in the dressing room as they were seen in a recorded video celebrating enormously after reaching an European final for the first time in 47 years and would be aiming to win their first major trophy since 1980.
