#EndSARS: Lagos LP Charges Sanwo-Olu On 103 Corpses

The Lagos State Labour Party has charged the state governor, Babajide Sanwo- Olu, with providing additional clarification on how his administration came about the 103 corpses scheduled for mass burial, which the state claims are victims of the #EndSARS protest.

The party claimed that the explanation was required because the state governor, Sanwo-Olu, first admitted that only one person was killed during the protest.

The Labour Party claimed that the governor should shed more light on the conditions that led to the deaths of so many individuals, and that the party will not rest until the information is released.

Pastor Dayo Ekong, the party's state chairman, claimed at a news conference in Lagos that the state government is not being truthful with the information it is providing, and that there is proof that those murdered in the demonstration outnumber those officially dead.

She stated that whether the corpses were of those killed in Ketu, Agege, or even Lekki is irrelevant because the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Olusegun Ogboye, is denying that there are no corpses from Lekki among those to be buried.

Ekong stated that the fact that these are human corpses remains, and that the state administration cannot just conduct mass burials.
