A day of Premier League delight as it reaches 1,000 goals for the season.

 

 

The Englissh Premier League campaign has officially reached the 1,000 goals mark for the 2022/23 season after Matchday 36.

 

A day full of records as that was not the only milestone achieved as different clubs and players attained different achievements in their respective footballing careers during the matchday, we take a look at some of those memorable achievements.

 

Marco Silva’s Fulham side reached new heights as they have reached 15 league wins this season, the most they have ever had in a single PL season.

 

Callum Wilson’s 17 goals this season are the most by a player for Newcastle in a single PL season since Alan Shearer in the 2003/04 season when he scored 22.

 

Michael Olise becomes the first Crystal Palace player to reach 10 assists in a single Premier League season.

 

Harry Kane has now scored in 24 Premier League games this season which is a joint record of any player in a 38-game season along with Mohamed Salah in 2017/18.
