Dangote at 66⁣: Buhari showers encomium

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday, described the founder of the Dangote Group of Company, Aliko Dangote, as a businessman who has “given new heights to Nigeria’s prestige” as he turns 66. ⁣

In a birthday message titled ‘President Buhari greets Dangote on his birthday, praises him for giving the nation a good image.’ ⁣
⁣
“Hearty congratulations and best wishes to the illustrious businessman Aliko Dangote on his birthday". ⁣

Buhari in a statement issued by his senior special Assistant, Garba Shehu, pours encomium on Alhaji Aliko. Dangote, describing him as one who has given Nigeria a global "prestige"

Part of the message reads, “He has given new heights to Nigeria’s prestige and global reputation. 
“May the Almighty give him the strength and wisdom to do even more for the nation,” Buhari said. ⁣

Buhari also commended the businessman for his efforts towards the nation’s progress and contributing to the GDP as well as putting Nigeria in the global market, while wishing him a long, healthy life and a joyful year ahead. ⁣
