City make it look ‘three-easy’ against German champions.

Manchester City are 90 minutes away from making it through to the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League after a commanding 3-0 first leg victory over Bayern Munich at the Etihad stadium in Manchester.

Rodri’s 27th minute strike ensured the hosts went into half time with a 1-0 lead while goals from Bernardo Silva in the 70th minute and Erling Haaland in the 76th minute further sealed the tie for Pep Guardiola’s men.

City would travel to the Allianz Arena in Munich for the second leg of the tie on the 19th of April with a comfortable lead but know the job isn’t just done yet as they would have to avoid the Germans from performing a miraculous comeback..

The winner of the tie after both legs would progress to face the winner of the Real Madrid and Chelsea tie for a match-up in the semi-final.
