Chichi, an ex-BBNaija "Level Up" housemate, has opened up about her personal experiences.
The reality star shared details about her beginnings as a stripper and her strained friendship with her former best friend, Phyna.
She admitted that she was physically and sexually abused as a child.
When asked about her career as a stripper, Chichi said that it was a culmination of highly personal experiences that had impacted her life. She acknowledged that many Nigerians could find it difficult to understand or relate to her unusual situation, though.
The reality TV personality also explained that after a BBNaija reunion event, she experienced melancholy and suffering. She was so upset that she deleted her social media accounts because she thought the reunion was staged to damage her reputation.
Chichi emphasized that Phyna was the target of her legal case against her because the other reality star had made multiple false accusations against her.
"I have experienced things that a girl child should not have to. Simply consider anything you can; I have been there. I have witnessed all forms of abuse, both physical and sexual.
Nothing that I have acquired has been given to me for free. I do not know how it happened, but I am just grateful to God since no one has ever seen anything positive in me, not even when I was a youngster. Big Brother Naija is the only thing I got for free.
Numerous events led to my decision to start stripping, but because Nigerians are not ready to relate to my tale, many people would not understand.
After the get-together, I felt down. Because it is not simple for me, I deactivated Instagram, and even today, I use it occasionally.
I felt like I went there to have my brand and everything else destroyed and made useless, therefore I was depressed after the reunion.
