Buhari’s Aide Mocks Peter Obi for Insisting He’ll Win His Mandate

Bashir Ahmad, the Special Assistant to the President on Digital Communication, has made fun of Peter Obi, the candidate for president of the Labour Party (LP), for his most recent remark.

Obi had argued that he alone should be Nigeria's president.

Bola Tinubu's triumph is being contested in court by Obi, who claims he is spiritually certain that he will win the presidency.

At the 'Peter Obi: Many Voices, One Perspective' book launch in Awka, Anambra State, he gave a speech.

In response, Ahmad characterized the LP flagbearer as the father's favorite son who aspires to become president.

"So, Daddy's favorite son insisted that he MUST be the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria," Ahmad stated in a tweet. "We wish him sweet dreams."
