Brighton have qualified for next season's Europa League.

 

Brighton have secured their qualification for next season’s Europa League competition following their 1-1 draw with League champions Manchester City at the Amex Stadium in Brighton.

 

Brighton needed just a point in the game to secure their qualification and definitely got the job done when Julio Enciso scored a ‘goal of the season’ contender with his 38th minute strike to cancel out Phil Foden’s opener in the 25th minute.

 

Roberto De Zerbi’s Brighton side have been hailed as one of the surprises of the season and have certainly now turned those compliments into results as they have now qualified for an European tournament for the first time in the club’s history.
