The Presidential Election Tribunal will deliver judgment on petitions challenging the election of now President, Bola Tinubu on Wednesday, 6th of September.

In May, news sources reported that the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal merged the petitions submitted by the different political parties while giving the pre-hearing report on the petition and presenting the trial schedule.

In order to give the verdicts on the same day as Peter Obi of the Labour Party, it also reserved judgement on the petitions submitted by the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party.

It recently denied setting September 16 as the judgement date.
