Brentford forward, Ivan Toney has been officially suspended from all football and football-related activities with immediate effect for eight months and has also been fined.
This comes after an investigation on the player for breaches of The FA’s Betting Rules after it was widely reported that the forward was charged with over 262 breaches of FA Rule E8 in total between 25 February 2017 and 23 January 2021. The FA subsequently withdrew 30 of those charges and he admitted to the remaining 232.
The suspension is to end on the 16th of January 2024 and the forward is not to participate in any football related activity for either club or country till then.
