Blues lose again as captain Ode fires the Gunners back to winning ways.

Another football match, another disappointment and yet another loss recorded for Chelsea as they once again surrendered to a 3-1 defeat in the London Derby at the Emirates to Arsenal.

Asenal’s skipper Martin Odegaard opened the scoring in the 18th minute before extending the lead shortly after that in the 31st minute to complete his brace. Gabriel Jesus made it 3-0 just three minutes later before Noni Madueke pulled one back for the away side in the 65th minute, scoring his first goal for the club since his move from PSV in January.

Arsenal have now won 150 premier league London derbies which is the most derby victories recorded by any side in the league’s history. Arsenal also are the only side in the league this season to have four different players score 10 goals or above with Gabriel Jesus being the latest to hit 10 league goals for the side with his strike against Chelsea. The Brazilian joins fellow Brazilian forward Gabriel Martinelli (15), Martin Odegaard (14) and Bukayo Saka (13).

A season of disappointment which have seen the fight for European places now turn a potential fight for survival now see Chelsea just 9 points above the relegation spotafter recording their 6th consecutive loss (in all competitions) under the management of interim boss, Frank Lampard.

Frank Lampard has a 100% loss record since his appointment as caretaker manager of the English club and has now lost his last 10 matches as a manager, becoming the first English manager to lose 10 games in a row while in charge of a top-flight team since Arthur Cox did in February 1988 with Derby.
