Benzema marks return with Hat-trick to send Madrid back to winning ways.

Real Madrid returned to winning ways at the Santiago Bernabeu as they ran out 4-2 winners over Almeria.

Karim Benzema wasted no time to mark his return after a lengthy injury that saw him miss the loss at Girona as he found the back of the net 5 minutes after kick-off. Karim Benzema then extended the lead for his side in the 17thminute after a beautiful piece of display from Rodrygo to set up the French International forward. He went further to complete his first half hat-trick in the 42nd minute after converting a penalty kick. Lazaro pulled one back for the away team just before the break but Rodrygo quickly denied them a chance of a come-back immediately after the break as he scored in the 48th minute to make it 4-1. Lucas Robertone then scored in the 61st minute to make it 4-2 and couldn’t stop the Madrid giants from taking all the 3 points.

Karim Benzema took his league goals tally to 17 after the hat-trick, just 1 behind top scorer, Robert Lewandowskiahead of Barcelona’s game at the Camp Nou against Real Betis later in the round.
