Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party's (PDP) presidential candidate for the 2023 general elections, urged Adamawa and Kebbi voters to support the PDP in the April 15 supplementary elections.
In addition to the two states, five senatorial districts, 31 federal constituencies, and 58 state assembly constituencies, supplementary governorship elections were set for April 15 by INEC.
In a statement released in Abuja by his spokesman, Paul Ibe, Abubakar made the call.
He urged voters in Kebbi and Adamawa to participate peacefully in the election process and afterwards.
“In both Adamawa and Kebbi where the elections would be held, I make a special appeal to voters to ensure that PDP enjoys overwhelming support,’’ Abubakar pleads to the voters.
