It’s been 11 years since their split but it seems the quote “first love never dies†binds these two lovebirds for life.
The American RnB sensation of the 2000’s Ashanti and three time grammy award-winning rapper Nelly have seemingly sparked dating rumuors after being spotted at a two eventseither cozied up or with fingers intertwined.
The two industry legends were spotted seated in front row at a boxing match between Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia alongside other A-list acts: Jermaine Dupri, eight-time Grammy winner Usher, two-time Grammy winner JohntáAustin, and Grammy nominee Daniel Daley as captured on camera by Jungletography TV.
The two have been linked with one another since the 2000seven after their reported breakup in 2012. The duo have been on and off with their display of affection for each other since then and have certainly added fuel to the fire after taking in the heavily anticipated fight from ringside.
The duo did their best to lay low during the fight as to avoid the eye of the public, -though they weren’t really hiding either given where they were seated.
Earlier that night, Nelly performed at ‘Tao Beach Club’ at The Venetian resort in Las Vegas. The St. Lunatic brought out his former GF Ashanti to perform their duet “Body on Me†and things appeared to get a little steamy between the two entertainers while on stage as the duo have been co-headlining the ‘My 2000s Playlist Tour’ along with Ja Rule, Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz, Fabulous and the Ying Yang Twins.
The lovebirds were later seen exiting the premises with hands intertwined and answered a few interview questions before heading off In the same direction.
Fans have been going wild over the alleged reunion and are left to wonder as the duo have always been tight-lipped about their relationship.
Though neither parties involved have openly admitted or addressed the flying dating rumours this wouldn’t be the first time the couple would be dealing with these speculations.
Nelly and Ashanti first sparked dating rumors back in February 2023 when they were spotted donning matching neck chains.
