Arsenal in the Semi-finals of the Champions League.

Hold-up! Wait a minute, it is ‘come-back queens’ this time as Arsenal women defeated Bayern Munich women 2-0 at the Emirates stadium to book a place in the UEFA Women’s Champions League semi-finals for the first time since 2013.

After losing the first-leg to the Frauen-Bundesliga leaders 1-0, the Gunners ended their opponent’s 14-game winning streak by knocking them out of the Champions league as first half goals from Frida Maanum and Stina Blackstenius were enough to overturn the first-leg one goal deficit.

Arsenal’s coach Jonas Eidevall spoke highly of his team after the game insisting his side can beat any team ahead of facing either PSG or Wolfsburg in the semi-final for a place in the final on the 3rd of June, 2023. The Swedish professional football coach said: â€œIf we hit it right we can beat any team.”

Arsenal’s sporting director Edu and Men’s team manager Mikel Arteta definitely enjoyed their view of the game as they both were in attendance at the Emirates stadium.
