Ariana Grande-Butera, known professionally as Ariana Grande, is an American singer, actress and songwriter. She was born on June 26, 1993, in Boca Raton, Florida, USA. Grande started her career in 2008 in the Broadway musical "13" and rose to prominence with her role as Cat Valentine in the Nickelodeon television series "Victorious" (2010-2013) and the spin-off "Sam & Cat" (2013-2014). 

Grande's music career began in 2011 with the release of her debut single, "Put Your Hearts Up." She then signed with Republic Records in 2013 and released her first studio album, "Yours Truly" which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart. The album's lead single, "The Way," featuring rapper Mac Miller, became a top-ten hit on the Billboard Hot 100. Grande's second studio album, "My Everything," released in 2014, also debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart and spawned hit singles such as "Problem" featuring Iggy Azalea and "Break Free" featuring Zedd. 

Offstage, Grande is known for her activism and philanthropy. She has advocated for various causes such as LGBTQ+ rights, gun control, and mental health awareness. She has also raised funds for victims of the Manchester Arena bombing in 2017, which occurred during one of her concerts. 

Currently, her recent appearance has been causing controversy among her fans as she looks slimmer, changes in hair colour and brows. Fans compare her body to the unhealthiest version of her body. She shared on tik tok Live video what her personal life has been like, she has been taking antidepressant drugs, eating poorly and drinking alcohol, which is at the lowest point in her life. 

She knows it is okay for her not to share her personal life but she is giving it a shot to be open and to show her vulnerability, maybe it could help her. 

Lastly, she addressed people not knowing what is going on in every other individual's life but we should be gentle and kind to each other because it is not everyone that smiles that is happy.
