Alexx Ekubo is a famous actor in the Nigeria industry and a model. The first of four children in his family, born on the 10th of April 1986, in Lagos. Alexx grew up in Lagos where he had his primary and secondary education. He then proceeded to the University of Calabar where he studied law, but dropped out due to personal reasons.
Ekubo began his acting career in 2005 when he participated in the Mr. Nigeria contest. He won the competition and went on to represent Nigeria in the Mr. World competition. However, he was unable to win the title. His participation helped in launching his career as a model and actor.
In 2010, Ekubo made his acting debut in the movie "Sinners in the House". Since then, he has featured in over 100 Nollywood movies. Some of his notable movies include "In the Cupboard", "True Citizens", "Bachelors' Eve", "The First Lady", and "Merry Men: The Real Yoruba Demons". He has also won several awards for his acting performances, including the Best Supporting Actor award at 2013 Best of Nollywood Awards.
Aside from acting, Ekubo is also involved in philanthropic activities. He founded the Alex Ekubo Foundation, which aims to empower and educate young people in Nigeria.
Ekubo is also a fashion enthusiast and has modelled for several fashion brands. In 2014, he launched his clothing line called "Alex Ekubo Clothing Line".
In 2020, Ekubo was appointed as the United Nations Youth Ambassador for Peace in Nigeria. He is also an ambassador for several brands, including Glo Nigeria, GAC Motors, and Vava Furniture.
In his personal life, Ekubo is not yet married. He is known for his sense of humour and outgoing personality, which has earned him a large followers on social media.
