Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party (LP), has received a stern warning from Adamu Garba, a senior member of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Because Obi allegedly insulted the North, Garba claimed that the presidency would always remain a pipe dream for him.
In response to Obi's pledge to reduce poverty beginning in the North, he issued the warning.
Obi had previously stated that he was still dedicated to changing Nigeria, beginning in the North.
Beyond winning back our mandate, the LP candidate had tweeted: “Beyond regaining our mandate, I am committed to lifting people out of poverty and I remain committed to transforming Nigeria starting from the North to every part of the nation.â€
In response, Garba emphasized that Obi would never be in the running for president again.
In his tweet, he wrote: “We know you are insulting us, we the Northerners, Mr. @PeterObi and we are assuring you that as far as the Presidency of Nigeria is concerned, it shall remain in your illusionary dream forever.
“You’ll never come close to it. You bigoted, religious, ethnocentric merchant.
“You can go to Finland to contend with your new Biafra government in exile.â€
