Following recent developments in the just concluded supplementary elections across the country involving Adamawa state Dr. Nuhu Yunusa, a global human rights organization, the International Human Rights Protection Service (IHRPS) has rated the independent national electoral commission INEC as not been competent to conduct any elections in Nigeria.Briefing newsmen in Abuja on Monday the Country President of the organisation Dr Charles Omini called on President Muhammad Buhari to immediately sack the Chairman of the electoral body in the country Prof Nahmud Yakubu, his national Commissioners and State resident electoral commissioners without further delay and for the security agencies to carry out full scale investigations on the Chairman and his commissioners.
Omini who described the action of the Adamawa State Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) Nuhu Yunusa as a total disgrace which is a clear indication that the 2023 general elections were the worst elections ever conducted in the history of Nigeria as the highest bidders had their way
