The world's fastest train

The world's fastest train is the Shanghai Maglev, located in China, which achieves a top speed of 460 km/h (286 mph) and has reached speeds of 501 km/h (311 mph) during testing. It employs magnetic levitation technology, allowing it to glide above the tracks, reducing friction and ensuring a smooth ride.
This train links Shanghai to its airport, completing the journey in less than eight minutes. While other high-speed trains like Japan's Shinkansen and France's TGV are noteworthy, none can match the Maglev's speed.
