Warner Bros. Discovery Considers Robert Pattinson for Batman in the DC Extended Universe

Warner Bros. Discovery is reportedly considering Robert Pattinson for the Batman role in its official DC Extended Universe, despite his current portrayal in Matt Reeves' standalone films, which are intended to exist in a separate universe.

CEO David Zaslav is eager to integrate Batman into the DCU soon, aiming to capitalize on the character's strong fan following and boost competition against Marvel's dominance.

While "The Brave and the Bold," the next Batman film featuring a new actor, has yet to receive a confirmed release date, Pattinson's impressive performance—having earned $771 million globally and multiple Academy Award nominations—makes him a strong candidate to portray Gotham's hero in the unified universe.
