Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima has officially inaugurated the Steering Committee for the Nigeria Jubilee Programme (NJFP) as part of the Federal Government's efforts to expand its employment initiatives and improve the employability of recent graduates with skills that meet market demands.
The NJFP, a government initiative being executed in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and backed by initial funding from the European Union (EU), is coordinated by the Vice President's office.
This program was created to tackle the challenges Nigerian graduates face in finding meaningful employment and aims to develop, test, and implement a scalable model that addresses the underlying issues of rising unemployment and underemployment in Nigeria.
