Vice President Kashim Shettima is scheduled to launch the $617 million IDICE Program on November 4, 2024.
On the same day, the application portal for Capacity Development and Infrastructure Support Grants will also open.
Since its launch in April, the program has faced delays due to ongoing approval processes with key funding partners, including the African Development Bank, the Islamic Development Bank, and the French Development Agency. However, these processes have now been successfully completed, allowing for the next phase to proceed.
As the program's Chairman, the Vice President has authorized the upcoming steps.
