Francisca Owumi, a star from Big Brother Naija, has passed away following a brief illness. Her family announced her death in a social media post on August 29, 2024, sharing her photos along with the message, "A daughter and sister. May her soul rest in peace, Amen."
Francisca was the first runner-up in the inaugural Big Brother Nigeria reality show in 2006. Known for her dynamic dance moves, she competed alongside notable contestants such as Katung Aduwak, who won the show, as well as Ebuka Obi Uchendu, Gideon Okeke, Maureen Osuji, Ify Ejikeme, and the late Joseph Ada. After her time on the show, Francisca ventured into the Nigerian music scene, releasing two singles, "Gbadun You" and "Diva."
