She said that her husband and she had advanced from being a couple to parents. However, the new mother chose not to reveal the gender of her child.
Religious skeptics who were unaware of her wedding date assumed the gospel singer was already expecting when she got married.
She received criticism from two religious commenters for having a baby so soon after being married.
