President Tinubu Departs Nigeria For Paris

 

 

 

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has traveled from Abuja to Paris, France, to take part in the review and signing of a new global financial agreement that prioritizes aiding and investing in vulnerable countries.

 

On Tuesday morning, Tinubu left through Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.

 

Dele Alake, the Special Adviser to the President on Special Duties, Communication, and Strategy, announced on Monday that Tinubu would participate in the two-day Summit with other international leaders on June 22 and 23 in Paris.

 

The President will also take advantage of the chance to mobilize creative finance for nations at risk from climate change, support low-income nation development, and promote investment in "green" infrastructure for the energy transition in emerging and developing economies.

 

Senior government officials and members of the Presidential Policy Advisory Council are traveling with him.

 

The President is said to return to Abuja On June 24th.
