President Bola Tinubu has announced a month-long conference aimed at engaging Nigerian youths in discussions about their challenges and opportunities.


President Bola Tinubu has revealed plans for a 30-day conference aimed at addressing the challenges faced by Nigerian youths. He made the announcement during his 64th Independence Day Anniversary Broadcast on Tuesday.

Emphasizing the importance of involving young people in shaping their future, Tinubu stated, "The government cannot achieve this without making them its architects."

He described the National Youth Conference as a platform for discussing the various challenges and opportunities facing the youth, who represent over 60% of the population. The conference aims to foster meaningful dialogue and encourage active participation in nation-building.

The 30-day event will bring together young people from across the country to collaboratively tackle issues such as education, employment, innovation, security, and social justice.

Tinubu pledged that the aspirations of the youth would be central to the discussions and that the government would carefully consider and act on the recommendations from the conference, reinforcing its commitment to building a more inclusive, prosperous, and united Nigeria
