Politicians Criticizing Nigeria Unfit for Leadership, Says AGF Fagbemi

Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), Lateef Fagbemi, has cautioned politicians who are "demarketing" Nigeria on social media, declaring them unfit to lead the nation. Speaking at a Social Media Summit in Abuja on September 18, he reiterated President Bola Tinubu's dedication to steering the country toward progress.

"Everyone must contribute to transforming Nigeria into a stronger nation, free from disputes. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's government is focused on overcoming challenges.

As the saying goes, social media never rests, so we must be mindful of our words! Think carefully before you speak, as once a word is spoken, it cannot be taken back. No one should misuse their freedom of speech online to violate another's rights, which is becoming increasingly common. We also need to be cautious about our comments regarding our country.

Political disagreements should not lead us to undermine our nation's reputation globally. Only unpatriotic individuals or leaders would do that. Those who criticize their country for political gain should never have the chance to lead it," he stated
