The Ondo State Police Command has pinpointed the officers accused of extorting N20,000 from a man in Akure.
The victim, Temi (@_iamTipTop), shared in a now-deleted post on X on September 25, 2024, that he was en route to donate inhalers to asthmatic students at the Federal University of Technology Akure when the police officers threatened him for money.
“The command has recognized the officers involved in this unprofessional conduct against @_iamTipTop while he was in transit. Disciplinary measures are underway,” the statement noted.
