The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has announced a weather forecast predicting thunderstorms and rain from Friday through Sunday nationwide. In a report released on Thursday in Abuja, the agency outlined that the morning hours of Friday will see thunderstorms in Borno, Yobe, Kaduna, Taraba, Jigawa, Gombe, and Bauchi States. Later in the day, thunderstorms are also anticipated in Sokoto, Kebbi, Zamfara, Kaduna, Katsina, Bauchi, Adamawa, Jigawa, and Kano States. Residents are advised to prepare for potential rainy conditions this weekend.
