Meet the Nigerian senator Godswill Akpabio. Sen Akpabio is a two-term former Governor of Akwa Ibom State and anointed candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He scored 63 votes to succeed Ahmed Lawan, the immediate past Senate President.
