Nigerian Army Captures High-Profile Terrorist Alhaji Adamu Bajara in Plateau State

Troops of the Nigerian Army have successfully apprehended a high-profile terrorist, Alhaji Adamu Bajara, in Plateau State. The arrest took place during a raid on his residence in Ambakka village, located on the Plateau-Nasarawa border, on October 17, 2024.

In a statement, the Army confirmed that Bajara has been on multiple security watchlists, making his capture a significant achievement in ongoing efforts to combat terrorism in the region. During the operation, troops recovered three AK-47 rifles and two rounds of 7.62mm (special) ammunition from his home. The Army has indicated that efforts are ongoing to track down Bajara's accomplices.

In addition to this successful operation, the troops also responded to a report of cattle rustling in Mile 8, Pankshin Local Government Area. They engaged with the criminals and managed to recover 46 stolen livestock, further demonstrating their commitment to maintaining security and order in the area.
