Netanyahu Responds to Drone Attack on His Home: "A Bitter Mistake"

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a defiant statement on Saturday, October 19, following an attempted drone attack on his home in Caesarea, Israel. The drone, launched from Lebanon, targeted Netanyahu's residence, although neither he nor his wife were present at the time, and no injuries were reported.

Netanyahu characterized the attackers as “agents of Iran,” specifically pointing to Hezbollah as being behind the incident. He warned that those responsible would “pay a heavy price” for the attempt on his life. As of now, Hezbollah has not claimed responsibility for the attack.

“This will not deter me and the state of Israel from continuing the war of revival against our enemies to ensure our security for generations,” Netanyahu declared. He referenced the recent killing of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, asserting that Israeli forces would "continue forward until the end."

Netanyahu expressed pride in the resilience of Israel’s soldiers and citizens, stating emphatically, “No, nothing will deter us. We continue until victory.
