Nearly Four Million in Florida Left Without Power After Hurricane Milton

Almost four million Floridians are without power due to Hurricane Milton, a Category 3 storm that made landfall with sustained winds of 120 mph.

The widespread outages have impacted both residential and commercial areas, with major utility companies Florida Power & Light and Duke Energy each reporting over one million customers affected.

As the storm moves back into the Atlantic, officials expect it to gradually weaken, while recovery and restoration efforts are ongoing in the impacted areas.
