A Navy aircraft crashed east of Mount Rainier during a "routine training flight" on Tuesday afternoon.
At 3:23 p.m., Naval Air Station Whidbey Island reported that an EA-18G Growler aircraft went down in the area.
The NASWI also stated that several search and rescue operations were initiated from the naval air station to locate the crew and assess the crash site
