Minister of Power Reports Over 40% of Nigerians Now Enjoy 20 Hours of Daily Electricity
On Sunday, Minister of Power Adebayo Adelabu announced that over 40% of Nigerians now have access to 20 hours of electricity daily. In a statement from Abuja, he attributed this achievement to transformative measures implemented by the Ministry of Power, supported by President Bola Tinubu's renewed hope agenda aimed at boosting the economy. Adelabu highlighted that the success in the power sector stems from decisive actions taken by his administration, with President Tinubu advocating for stable and reliable power supply to foster industrial growth. He also noted that generating over 5,500 megawatts of power in the past year is a key milestone, with plans for further improvements by year’s end.
